I’m sure by now that you know I’m a huge fan of Dr Zak’s products. I first reviewed their high protein pasta and bread last year on my blog, and in December I was lucky to sample their cinnamon & raisin bagels at a sampling day which they held at my work. I also use their coconut oil on everything. So when they asked me if I would like to try their new Multi-Grain & Seeds bagel I obviously said yes! The bagels contain 24g of protein per bagel and 40% less carbohydrate than standard bagels therefore making it lower in sugar. It is also free from artificial colours, preservatives, and flavours and can support building and maintaining muscle when used alongside a healthy fitness regime.
I made my bagel in to breakfast one with scrambled eggs, streaky bacon and black pudding and holy moly it was good! It got a huge thumbs up from my fiancé too. Because of the high protein it is extremely filling, so it makes a great breakfast and won’t leave you reaching for unhealthy mid-morning snacks.
