How To Have A Balanced Breakfast With Dr Zak’s Peanut Butter

I’m definitely a huge nut butter lover, and as you already know the¬†Dr Zaks¬†range is one of my favourites. They recently sent me their White Chocolate & Coconut and Cherry Bakewell peanut butters to try. I’ve tried the majority of their flavours and these two are hands down the best ones so far, and are perfect on Dr Zak’s bagels or added to porridge. Although porridge is a great breakfast on it’s own, I like to make it a more balanced meal by adding nut butter to add protein and good fats to the mix.

The peanut butter adds a lovely sweetness to the oats, eliminating the need for sugar and also makes the meal that little bit more filling.

If you’re a coconut fan like me then you’ll love the white chocolate & coconut flavour. Unlike other coconut butters the taste isn’t artificial and the flavours work together really well.

The cherry bakewell flavour seems to be a firm favourite amongst the Instagram #fitfam. And to be honest I can see why. It is seriously addictive and tastes just like cherry bakewell! After being a little disappointed with the chocolate orange flavour this is a welcome addition to the range. I’m looking forward to creating some healthy bakewell treats soon!

In the meantime I have also been adding the peanut butters to my flexbowls.

They are also perfect in smoothies to add some protein and healthy fats. Simply add it to unsweetened almond milk, frozen banana and 1 scoop protein powder and blend.
