I love preparing a Christmas dinner for my family, there is nothing better than being around a table surrounded by your loved ones and food. However one part of the day which can cause me great stress is how long the actual cooking takes. No-one wants to spend their Christmas day in the kitchen whilst everyone else is in the living room enjoying a festive movie or busy playing charades.
Meal prepping is something which is essential to reducing the time you spend in the kitchen on the big day, and for preventing those arguments when you are stressed by a dozen different food timers going off!
Hello Fresh have put together a Christmas dinner cheat sheet to help you prepare a stress-free, hassle-free meal. The sheet even includes timings, so you can relax and enjoy a glass of mulled wine knowing you are staying on track.
Although I don’t have a big family to cook for, I do have a 4-year-old who loves to show me her new dance move or talk to me when I’m cooking, which can obviously cause a distraction, so having everything timed and organised will help me lots this Christmas.
