{AD-Gifted} How I’m Using Bristol CBD Oil To Manage My Endometriosis

One of my goals for 2020 was to spend more time researching endometriosis and finding non-prescription more natural ways to manage the pain.

I believe that prescription medication definitely has its benefits but I always worry about potential side-effects of taking them long-term.

So at the start of January I did Veganuary, as I had read about the benefits of adopting a more plant-based anti-inflammatory diet.
I have since heavily reduced my intake of animal products and have seen a reduction in my pain during the last 3 months.

Bristol CBD Oil

Alongside my diet I have started taking CBD oil, something which has given me benefits in the past. I have been using Bristol CBD Oil     which I was kindly gifted with by the brand.

Bristol CBD was set up by Natural Healthcare practitioners Koren Barnwell and Mark Dunn. Their mission is to provide high-quality CBD products at affordable prices, and they are really passionate about educating people about CBD oil and its health benefits.

Their CBD stands out to its competitors due to the fact that they only source & sell full spectrum CBD oil which is extracted from organic hemp sativa grown far away from main roads, with no pesticides or chemicals.

Having personally tried and tested a few other brands over the last 2 years, this one comes up on top for me. For me the effects start to work within 30 minutes, whereas it can be up to an hour with other brands. Obviously we all react differently to supplements.

I use the CBD alongside a homemade massage oil of sweet almond oil, clary sage and lavender which really helps with my endometriosis pain. I add lavender more for its relaxing benefits.

Dosage
If you are just starting out with CBD, Bristol CBD recommend you test your sensitivity by starting with a small dose to see how your body reacts and gradually increasing your dose. Always remember to consult your GP or Pharmacist first especially if you are taking any other medication for underlying health conditions.

I have found that more and more GPs are becoming more supportive of using lifestyle medicine to manage chronic pain, which is great.
