{AD-Gifted} Starting My Journey With Focus Supplements

Focus Supplements

I am a big advocate for eating well and staying healthy but in my experience adding supplements where needed can help give me an extra boost. Having worked at a health store for many years supplement training always interested me and I loved hearing feedback from customers, which is why I am looking forward to working with Focus Supplements.

Focus supplements offer a varied range with everything from stress, hormonal balance and focus to joint pain. The three which stood out to me for my personal needs were.

DIM- (Diindolylmethane) with Black Pepper Extract. This is one of the active metabolic byproducts in vegetables such as broccoli and is thought to support hormone balance. Now I haven’t tried this before but when I worked at the health store a colleague and quite a few customers mentioned it to me when we were discussing my endometriosis.
As far as I know it’s hard to source a good one in the UK and it’s pricey so my research stopped there. However I am very interested to see if this balances my oestrogen levels and whether it makes any difference to my health. Watch this space.

Inositol, Folate & Chromium.
This is another combination which is thought to improve hormone balance as well as a host of other benefits.

Green Lipped Mussel 5:1 Extract. This is one of my favourite supplements and one which I have used previously for years but from a different brand. It’s rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals and supports your joints, ligaments and tendons.
I started taking this after having Amber as I had joint problems after my pregnancy. It made a big difference in the flexibility in my joints, so much so that I stopped taking it a few years ago. However I have joint problems again after having Harlow, so I’m confident that this will help.

As with any supplement, make sure to consult your GP before starting one, especially if you are already on medication.

I must say I am impressed with the range on offer at Focus Supplements, how detailed the descriptions are and that they are a UK-based company. I can’t wait to let you know how I have got on with the supplements at a later date.
