I was recently sent some Smart Weigh Digital Bamboo Scales by US-based company Measupro . Measupro specialise in fitness and health products such as body scales and blood pressure monitors.
As a foodie digital scales are one of my most used gadgets, so I was interested to see how these scales would compare to my trusty Salter one.
I have been using it mostly for baking as it meaures liquids which is really handy and a big plus point.
PROS:
The bamboo looks gorgeous and fits in well with my collection of bamboo kitchen accessories
The scales can weigh oz, fl.oz, ml and lb.
Really handy for measuring liquids ( a major selling point for me)
Lightweight and easy to store away
CONS:
On a few occasions I would have to repeatedly press the on button to get the scale to switch on, which was a little frustrating
The scale can be a little over-sensitive to touch, which meant the incorrect measurements would show up and I would have to start again.
