Strawberry Chia Jam

3 Cups Strawberries

2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds

3 Tablespoons Agave Nectar


Combine strawberries and agave nectar in a non-stick pan over a medium heat and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring regularly until the strawberries have gone mushy.

Mash half of the strawberries then stir in the chia seeds and reduce the heat to the lowest setting and simmer for 15 or until thickened.

Remove from the heat and leave to cool completely. Should take around 30 mins. Pour in to an airtight container and place in the fridge to thicken.

I chilled mine in the fridge overnight. It should keep well for 1-2 weeks.
